Six practice groups. One standard of instruction.

The Firm's practice is organised into six groups, each led by a named Partner and staffed by Advocates who have conducted the same class of matter repeatedly before the same fora. Set out below are the subject areas in which the Firm accepts instructions, together with the statutes under which those matters are conducted.

§ 01

Constitutional & High Court Practice

The Firm appears regularly in the writ and appellate jurisdictions of the Hon'ble High Court for the State of Telangana and the Hon'ble High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Delhi, and instructs Senior Counsel before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

Matters in this group ordinarily arise under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, and are conducted from the stage of advice on maintainability through to final hearing and, where warranted, appeal.

  1. 01 Writ petitions under Articles 226 and 227 in service, revenue, land, educational and regulatory matters
  2. 02 Public Interest Litigation and matters concerning the enforcement of fundamental rights
  3. 03 Petitions for quashing of criminal proceedings under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
  4. 04 First and second appeals, civil revisions and criminal revisions
  5. 05 Applications for regular and anticipatory bail, and for suspension of sentence
  6. 06 Contempt proceedings and applications for review

§ 02

Civil, Commercial & Matrimonial Litigation

Trial work before the City Civil Court at Hyderabad and the District Courts of Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Yadadri Bhongiri, together with the Commercial Courts and Family Courts exercising jurisdiction in the twin cities.

The group conducts suits from institution through issues, evidence and argument, and advises on limitation, jurisdiction and the framing of relief before a plaint is drawn.

  1. 01 Suits for declaration, possession, permanent and mandatory injunction under the Specific Relief Act, 1963
  2. 02 Suits for recovery of money, and prosecutions under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
  3. 03 Breach of contract and commercial disputes under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015
  4. 04 Arbitration and conciliation under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, including Sections 9, 11, 34 and 37 proceedings
  5. 05 Petitions for dissolution of marriage, restitution of conjugal rights, custody and guardianship
  6. 06 Maintenance, and proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005

§ 03

Corporate, Commercial & Insolvency

Transactional and advisory work for promoters, closely-held companies and listed entities, together with representation before the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal at Hyderabad.

The group settles constitutional documents and commercial contracts, and advises boards on statutory compliance under the Companies Act, 2013.

  1. 01 Incorporation, corporate structuring and secretarial compliance under the Companies Act, 2013
  2. 02 Shareholders' agreements, founders' agreements, share subscription and transfer documentation
  3. 03 Petitions alleging oppression and mismanagement under Sections 241 and 242 before the NCLT
  4. 04 Proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, for operational and financial creditors
  5. 05 Commercial contracts, employment terms, licensing and vendor documentation
  6. 06 Regulatory advice and representation before statutory authorities

§ 04

Property, Real Estate & Land Revenue

Title investigation, conveyancing and land-revenue litigation for purchasers, developers, financial institutions and family estates across the Hyderabad metropolitan region.

Diligence is conducted on the link documents and revenue record together, and every report issued by the Firm identifies the defects found, the risk each carries and the steps by which it may be cured.

§ 05

Criminal Defence, PMLA & NDPS

A dedicated defence practice in economic offences and narcotics matters, conducted before the Special Courts, the Sessions Courts and the Hon'ble High Court, with recourse to the Appellate Tribunal in attachment proceedings.

Instructions in this group are received in confidence and conducted with discretion. The Firm advises at the stage of summons and investigation, and not merely after cognizance is taken.

  2. 02 Defence under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985
  3. 03 Economic offences, offences against property and offences under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
  4. 04 Regular bail, anticipatory bail, discharge and applications for default bail
  5. 05 Sessions trials, criminal appeals and criminal revisions
  6. 06 Advice at the stage of summons, notice under Section 35 of the BNSS and investigation

§ 06

Tribunals, Taxation, Commissions & Forums

Specialised representation before the tribunals, commissions and statutory forums constituted under central and State enactments, where procedure, limitation and the technical record are frequently decisive.

Matters in this group are prepared on the footing that the first filing carries the case, and are supported by the documentary and technical record at the time of institution.

  6. 06 Claims before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal and matters before the Labour Courts
